Professionals Australia Representing Members at the Jobs and Skills Summit

Professionals Australia Representing Members at the Jobs and Skills Summit The Jobs and Skills Summit kicked off yesterday, and Professionals Australia has been in the thick of the discussions.

As one of only 33 unions and a selection of employers invited to discuss the challenges facing Australian workers, our union is playing a key part in driving change from the top.

PA members, along with our CEO, Jill McCabe have been working hard to raise awareness of the key issues facing our industries and advocating for policies and reforms that deliver stronger employment opportunities and outcomes for our members.

Yesterday, we heard from notable speakers, including Michele O’Neil, ACTU President, Tony Burke, Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations, and Sally McManus, ACTU Secretary.

Discussions are happening at every level as we seize opportunities to meet with business leaders, politicians and public figures to discuss the issues that matter most to our members. The Summit continues today, so we will provide a wrap up of the outcomes next week.
