Professionals Australia Thanks Catherine Bolger

At the recent Annual General Meeting of the Collieries' Staff and Officials Association (a division of Professionals Australia) a motion was passed to recognise and thank outgoing Director Catherine Bolger for her years of service and contribution to the union.

The motion read: 

This Annual General Meeting thanks Catherine Bolger on behalf of all members for her years of devoted service to improving the working lives of members and helping to secure their entitlements into the future. 

Catherine commenced working for the CSOA in July 2001, having already been at Professionals Australia since 1996, and for the past 28 years has been integral to the success of the union. Over that time, Catherine oversaw the beginning and continuation of the Just Transition necessary to leave no worker or community behind as we move toward a net-zero economy. 

Her passion for ensuring workers receive every cent to which they are entitled will serve her well as she continues to fight for fairness in the superannuation industry.

The CSOA, and Professionals Australia as a whole, thank her deeply for her service and wish her the best in her future endeavours.
