About us
Professionals Australia is the union for veterinarians across Australia. We represent the industrial interests of over 20,000 professionals – including thousands of scientists from a broad range of specialisations, including veterinary science.
We advocate for improvements to policies and practices at a workplace and industry level to improve the veterinary industry and the working lives for our members. As a union, we also play a key role in encouraging dialogue between government and industry, and to promote public understanding of veterinary science and the critical role professional scientists play in society.
